Our Healthcare Project
On our healthcare placement you will have the chance to touch peoples lives and experience how healthcare is practised in a small rural Thai community. Our medical programme is ideal for medical students and professionals and ensure that your skills and medical expertise are put to good use. Joining our healthcare experience abroad includes many great benefits not only for the people you are helping, but also for your own personal development too.
Many of the patients may not have access to suitable healthcare services and we want to do our part to help people in rural or poorer areas get access to a good standard of healthcare. Since starting our healthcare experiences our programme participants have treated thousands of patients for a wide variety of issues. With each day comes a new challenge and no two days are ever the same, but this is all part of your unforgettable healthcare experience.

What Our Travellers Are Saying
Don’t just take it from us, let our travellers do the talking!
I had an incredible time on the medical project. From working at the clinic to touring and observing at the hospital everyone was very welcoming and helpful. I would do it again in a second and plan on returning hopefully soon!Ella
I have just recently qualified and found the whole experience to be amazing. Nam the healthcare coordinator stays with you the whole time in the hospital and is able to translate even some of the most confusing medical english. Will
I was part of a group of 7 student nurses from England volunteering in Surin hospital in Thailand. We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Starfish and can not fault them at all… We will definitely be returning to Thailand; amazing place!Chester
