Our Teaching Project
For many children learning English as a foreign language is a fun and essential part of their education. Our teaching experience is based in Surin, the very heart of Thailand and is surrounded by rice fields, elephants and is well and truly off the tourist track. Take part in this great programme helping the development of young people here and we are sure that you will have an unforgettable time.
It’s something that many of us take for granted but being able to read and write English can often lead to better paid jobs and higher standards of living. Employers in Thailand now see English language as a huge asset but for many students in poorer schools there is little hope to learn English from native speakers. Travellers are highly respected and admired for offering to support these less privileged schools.
Teaching Experience in Surin, Thailand
Surin is often called the heart of Thailand; well known for it’s beautiful scenery and friendly local community. Our hands-on teaching experience gives you the opportunity to help empower children through structured learning.
What Our Travellers Are Saying
Don’t just take it from us, let our travellers do the talking!
Seeing a local school in a rural area and understanding what level of education they receive was a real eye opener and made me appreciate what we have in England. I would definitely recommend it and will be coming back.Natasha
Teaching in Thailand was as enjoyable as it was rewarding. The schools I worked with were so excited to have us and watching the students progress was among my best memories of Thailand.Wendy
As this is a project I did alone, it gave me the chance to make new friends which you quickly become close to as my group was very small. I see this as a benefit as I have now made friends for life who I plan to meet back up with in England.Ashleigh
