Elephant Experiences Abroad
Live with elephants in Thailand and help protect these gentle giants from a life of begging, abuse and mistreatment.
You will help the local community to be able to support themselves. Your contribution will help keep elephants out of harms way.
An incredible experience to be able to get close to these majestic animals. Feed them enormous amounts and scrub them clean in the river.
The elephant programme is located in rural Thailand. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the area and the variety of activities to get involved with during your free-time.
Our Elephant Project
Join us on an unforgettable adventure and work with elephants in Thailand. We work with a fantastic elephant community in rural North East Thailand providing the perfect environment to learn about and work alongside these fantastic animals. This adventure also enables you to experience real rural life in Thailand , an amazing opportunity even without the added bonus of the wonderful elephants.
Our animal care experience is one of our most popular because not only are they a great way to give back but it’s also filled with moments that you will never forget. Elephants, as you can imagine, need a lot of care; cleaning, feeding and keeping them entertained is no small task. Our travellers help care for these majestic animals and in return get to create memories of a lifetime.
What Our Travellers Are Saying
Don’t just take it from us, let our travellers do the talking!
Starfish is a fantastic organisation and we would recommend their projects to anyone. The placements are well organised and the people are both helpful and knowledgeable. We had a brilliant time and we’d definitely go again!Nikki & Sarah
I got to help, interact and play with ELEPHANTS!!!!! What more do I need to say really!? Nothing it was fantastic, people you have to come and try this!!!Lucy
The elephants are amazing, I never thought you could be so close to such lovely, gentle creatures. The Starfish projects does so much to educate and protect elephants around Asia, it really inspired me to go home and write about how others can help and get involved.Anna
